January Soybean prices ended 2017 trading just a tick under $9.52 per bushel. Today, the front-month contract added 6 cents, while the March 2018 contract added 5 cents. Soybean prices for March closed just under $9.62 per bushel.

The cold snap across the Midwest offers some support to wheat prices here today. The March SRW contract added 5.75 cents and closed the day at $4.28 per bushel. The May contract added 5.75 cents and closed a tick above $4.41.
